Outdoor Wedding Ceremony Locations

Parks with open air shelters, renting for just $150/day, can be an inexpensive solution for a lovely wedding on a small budget. If you plan to get married in a public park, be sure to get permission first.

Connecticut is full of beautiful outdoor nooks. Do keep in mind parking, accessibility for older or handicapped guests, and restrooms. Have a Plan B in case of rain, unless you think umbrellas are romantic. (Kissing under an umbrella makes very romantic photos!)

Remember, too, spike heels don't work well on sandy, grassy, or uneven ground. And you may want to provide fans and lemonade for your guests on a hot day, or bug spray if you're having an evening wedding!
