We can perform a wedding wishes ceremony- or a pebble or shell ceremony.  As the guests arrive for your ceremony, have a vase, bowl, or prayer jar, pens, and paper. Station someone to explain that they are to write a blessing or a wish for the wedding couple and place their wish into the container.   During the Wedding Ceremony the Minister will ask the Best Man or the Maid of Honor to bring the vase to the Bride and Groom.  They will hold it up to the sky and the Minister, a friend or family member will pray for all the wishes to come true.  For a pebble or shell ceremony, each person prays a silent blessing or wish over a pebble or shell, and then places it in the jar. Makes a great wedding keepsake!

Officiate:
All of you were asked to write
something good you wish for (Bride) and (Groom),
and place it inside a vase so we can pray together
for ALL those good wishes to come true…
(name of person assigned to bring the vase),
would you please bring the vase to (Bride) and (Groom.)

(Bride) and (Groom) please raise your vase of wishes up to the sky.

May you always keep the dawn in your love,
the harmony in your song.
May you love deeply and laugh much.
May you see many sunrises, and enjoy many rains.
May you dream together, and value the little moments.
May you continually discover each other,
and may your love grow,
as you share and listen carefully, open heart to open heart.

May your marriage be forever blessed.
And may all these good wishes come true!
Amen.

option:  other wedding blessings may be used.

Variation:
Pebble or Shell Ceremony: If the wedding is at a beach, guests may pick up a pebble or a shell, silently say a blessing, and place it into a special container.  This can be done along with a sand blending ceremony.  Or glass stones may be used.
